NEXT

At Boost, we utilise a range of live graphics solutions, including Vizrt, Ross, and Chyron, alongside our proprietary platform, NEXT. Designed for reliability and efficiency, NEXT offers a powerful, cost-effective solution for live graphics.

By choosing NEXT, clients gain access to a cutting-edge, reliable platform designed to meet the highest industry standards.

NEXT is the overarching name of the platform, consisting of a render component (NEXT Engine) and a Control component (NEXT Control). Next has been successfully deployed for around 5000 productions per year.

The advanced render engine leverages gaming technology for real-time rendering and exceptional graphic quality during live broadcasts.

Seamless Integration with Sports Statistics
NEXT integrates effortlessly with major statistics providers to deliver real-time data like scores and player stats. Operators can select relevant data directly within the NEXT interface, ensuring accurate, engaging, and visually compelling broadcasts.

Remote & Cloud

Our remote centers can serve as your remote graphics control location. Our remote centers are located in Italy, France, the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK, allowing us to tailor our approach to the specific needs of our clients. We have extensive experience in the remote graphics domain, having provided remote graphics solutions for Serie B football and basketball in Italy and e.g. for UEFA global match highlights. 

 

A remote solution offers cost efficiency compared to a local setup, as it allows for savings on travel and accommodation expenses. Furthermore, there is potential for efficiency gains in the number of operators deployed, depending on the game schedule. A third advantage is the environmental friendliness of the remote setup, aligning with our company’s commitment to environmental responsibility.

Virtual Fly-Over

At Boost Graphics we extensively leverage gaming technology. Based on this, we’ve developed a service where we create hyper-realistic replicas of sports venues and other locations. This enables us to produce flyovers or flythroughs that may not be easily achievable with drones or helicopters, all while incorporating virtual elements. We continuously innovate, exemplified by recent accolades for our TeamRadio application (Sportel Award and SVG Europ Award), converting live radio communication from cycling teams into readable text for on-screen moderation in multiple languages.

Virtual Advertising

Virtual advertising, while not inherently innovative, can generate additional revenue when it reaches a broad audience. There are various forms of virtual advertising, including virtual carpets, virtual billboard overlays, and augmented reality enhancements in TV broadcasts. Boost is experienced in deploying these technologies. Our technology-agnostic approach allows us to choose the most suitable solution in collaboration with our clients to address their specific needs.

Team Radio

Boost Graphics is transforming sports broadcasting with its cutting-edge Team Radio solution. First showcased live at the 2023 Tour de France, this innovation allowed viewers to hear live, communications between cyclists and their team directors, adding a thrilling new layer to the race coverage. Through in-house developed software, Boost transcribed radio feeds in real time, curating key audio clips for broadcasters and social media, while ensuring strategic content was protected. During a race over many Team Radio segments are shared worldwide, heightening viewer engagement and offering exclusive insights.

With its expansion into other sports, Boost continues to push the boundaries of sports media. By combining advanced technology with creativity, we deliver compelling, interactive content that takes sports broadcasting to the next level. Boost Graphics – where innovation meets sport.

PixelTracking

In recent years, we’ve developed PixelTracking—a powerful solution designed to deliver key athlete information such as name, ranking, and speed. Using advanced image recognition technology, PixelTracking is not only highly reliable but also fully capable of real-time deployment. When integrated with live drone, helicopter or Wirecam footage, it offers a fresh perspective on a race, providing viewers with invaluable insights.

This cutting-edge technology enhances the broadcast by presenting dynamic, relevant data about individual athletes or riders, making the viewing experience more engaging and informative. By applying PixelTracking to aerial footage, we give audiences a unique view of the race dynamics, elevating both the excitement and the overall quality of the broadcast.

Boost Maps

In addition to TeamRadio, we have developed Boost Maps. Boost Maps provides an exceptionally realistic virtual 3D representation of the landscape, coupled with current weather conditions. Within this landscape, the racecourse is naturally depicted, allowing for a real-time visualization of the race standings.

Commentator Information Screen

Our commentator applications, meticulously designed, are not just functional but redefine the very essence of user interaction. Delivered with the utmost flexibility, these applications can be seamlessly accessed on tablets through an engaging HTML format or as a dedicated video output, ensuring a tailored experience for every commentator. 

Powered by our cutting-edge NEXT Sports Data Server, this solution is the linchpin that effortlessly extracts and channels data, becoming the heartbeat of our commentator applications.
